Mexico city - Toluca Intercity train (Mexico)
42 months (Ongoing project)
Technical management and supervision of the construction work involving power and electrification systems, electromechanical systems, signaling, communications, control station and rolling stock for the new intercity line between Mexico City and Toluca.
This new railway line has almost 58 kilometers of electrified double track, and it is estimated that it will be used by around 230,000 passengers a year, significantly reducing the current traffic problems in the corridor.
Forty nine of the line’s 57.7 km are in the form of viaducts and there are 4.6 km in tunnels, which gives an idea of the technical complexity of the project.
